Their attention to detail and willingness to cater to our gluten allergy needs made our stay even more delightful. the location, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Ciutadella park, was ideal for exploring the city with ease. The hotel's design exuded a contemporary Spanish flair, with locally manufactured furniture harmonizing beautifully with the natural influences of the surrounding flora and fauna. the lobby and lounge space were a true artistic marvel, blending earthy tiles and eclectic woods with abstract lighting fixtures, creating a space that felt like a stylish sanctuary in the heart of Barcelona. We particularly enjoyed unwinding in the outdoor courtyard, reminiscent of a typical Barcelona patio, and taking in the breathtaking views from the L-shaped rooftop terrace. the selection of gin and tonics at the bar added a touch of European sophistication to our evenings, making each moment spent there a memorable experience. Despite the minor downside of noise traveling from the hallway, the comfort of the rooms, complete with premium bedding and organic toiletries, ensured a restful night's sleep. the daily buffet breakfast featuring regional delights was a culinary journey we savored each morning, setting the tone for the day ahead. Traveling with my partner, the proximity of Motel One to iconic attractions like the Sagrada Familia and the lively La Rambla street catered perfectly to our desire to immerse ourselves in the vibrant energy of Barcelona. the hotel's modern amenities, from air conditioning to an interactive TV, provided the perfect balance of comfort and convenience during our city break.
